For Students: Logistical Information.

Selection Process
Students must submit their resume and application (Students are notified of the dates through UConn's Career Services.). In addition, faculty will forward recommendations to edgelab personnel. All resumes are screened. After screening, student interviews are scheduled with Human Resources and business personnel. Finally, notification is made to selected candidates.

Location
edgelab is a 12,000 square-foot facility that is co-located with the UConn Stamford campus on the third floor of the building. We are in the heart of downtown Stamford, an urban cultural center less than an hour away from New York City (For more information on the Stamford campus and surrounding area, visit our related links and campus tour pages.).

Housing
There is an abundance of apartments in the nearby area. The UConn campus does not provide residential housing; however, limited housing is available at a partially-subsidized price during your semester at edgelab through our partnership with the Connecticut Information Technology Institute (CITI). Contact Tim Dowding of CITI via email or phone at (203) 251-9551 for more information on prices and availability.

Classes
Most, if not all, of the classes you require (in addition to the credits you receive at edgelab) can be attended at the Stamford campus. Books can be purchased at the UConn-Stamford bookstore.
